floridahusker
how many yards did Jamal Charles have a few years ago when he ran wild in the 4th qt. of that game? 1 Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
how many yards did Jamal Charles have a few years ago when he ran wild in the 4th qt. of that game? Ding Ding Ding. Plus 1 for you sir. Charles scorched Koz's super defense to the tune of 290. However he railed the Blackshirts that day for 216 of those yards in the 4th quarter alone. Quote Link to comment

For some reason we really just gave up in the 4th quarter of that game, even when were leading. Charles had much more pedestrian stats, before he ripped off three HUGE touchdown runs in the 4th. Nobody wants to give Gabbert credit on the basis of Taylor's more video game like statistics this week, but there is no question who is the better/more talented quarterback, and passer, even when the H2H passing stats won't reflect that. But, it doesn't matter, because that did nothing for Freeman when he faced off on Taylor/Ganz. Quote Link to comment

It was the fact that Koz blitzed the house every play and it was a matter of time until Texas blocked and attacked it right. Once Charles got three yards past the LOS there was no one left to touch him. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Ah - you're probably right. I just remember being heartbroken after taking it to Texas and looking like we were shutting them down and on the verge of a huge upset, then having that happen three times in Q4. Quote Link to comment
floridahusker
Man i remember it being bad but 216 in a qtr. damn, hearing that makes me sick all over again. Quote Link to comment
WCHusker
LOL! TM wins Offensive player of the week for the whole country, but only ties for it in the Big 12. What a bunch Big 12 media morons. You can't make this sh!t up, but nothing having to do with the Big 12 would surprise me this year. Quote Link to comment
JOEY
Ehh, Gabb had a decent day against a less than stellar Boomer D, that's fine... But he's still going to end his career against NU just like Josh Freeman-- with 0 wins. Calling it. I'm sorry but what do you think OSU's defense is if OU's is less than stellar? It doesn't matter dude, people were not expecting this from Martinez and we haven't seen it yet,we already knew that gabbert could throw the ball. Martinez should of been hands down offensive player of the week. Quote Link to comment
