Feared for his life? I honestly have never feared for my life in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have been downtown after bars close with all the drunks in Lincoln and haven't even feared of being punched let alone killed. This is the biggest cop out I have ever seen. I want us to win the Big 12 so much just to see Beebe hand us the Big 12 trophy and wish us the best. That would make the season worthwhile.

Husker media is ridding him pretty hard on twitter over his comments, I'm pretty sure Nexus is right this will be a national issue all week. The truth will come out and if the death threats are indeed a BS exuse Bebe will be exposed for the tool he is.

Beebe's attempting to hurt the reputation of the program on as many levels as possible: fans, recruiting, etc.

 

Just imagine - as Beebe is presenting the trophy the fans...applaud. Completely ignoring the presence of the man himself.

Beebe would have been horrified.

But a credible threat? Beebe needs to prove it or make a retraction.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. You dont come out an say how easy it would be to have a team lose just about every game possible. This atleast sheds some light on the fact he has actually thought about it, and a man in his position it wouldnt take much to make it come true....he said so himself.

 

The more stats that come out, statements from Beebe, actions and non-actions by the B12 sure get more damning by the minute.
