Hunter94
Rumormill(take it for what it's worth) over on HI is that the staff is kept but TO is giving input to BO on a scheme that completes the departure from the WCO. Wats(while he's here anyway) will have decreased responsibility and Beck will have more. My question was why keep Wats at all for the new scheme? Somebody thought it could be out of respect for him staying through the transition when he could've bolted. Don't see that happen to any OC. It says you can't get it done but we aren't going to fire you even though we should. If you diminish responsibility from anyone Watson would just look for another job than take a reduced role. I would bet he would bolt as soon as a another job opened up. Wats would be damn lucky to land a job at a Juco...if any of the above is true, i have lost a lot of respect for TO! But whether the the rumor is true or not I'd say the door is wide-open for Wats to go. Quote Link to comment
mmmtodd
oh my god. like the saying, "if you have two quarterbacks, you have none..." what the heck does "if you have two offensive coordinators (hell, maybe 3)..." mean? Quote Link to comment
bshirt
Wats, Gilmore and Cotton for sure. Don't know how to evaluate Beck and Brown exactly. It's either that or SW/Gilmore gone. I'm on the fence with Barney but happy either way. If neither we're in deep, deep do-do. Quote Link to comment

He's the sharpest OC I've ever seen. I hope it's just a rumor though. Quote Link to comment
LNCBorn
In honor of LC, not so fast my furry friends, WE will hold our own in the Big Xll. We may lose 2 or 3 games in conference our first year. That includes one game of debotchery! Bo Knows if Wats is still his guy to get the program where he wants it! I personally don't see how he could feel that way with the sloppy football we excreted way too often and in the biggest games. I can only hope he is staying quiet so Wats can bail gracefully. Bo and co. have our defense humming now, lets focus on the O these next couple years and we will probably win the B10 in 2013. Quote Link to comment

klemander
Could it be that instead of firing Watson, that Osborne (and or Bo)is activily trying to find Wats a new job? Quote Link to comment
bleedNUred
I hope he cleans house, but I believe he sticks with the status quo. This. Quote Link to comment
