We haven't offered Malcolm yet, but Marvin Sanders had an in home visit with him this week, as did Washington's coach. He says he really likes Nebraska and Washington and that the school who offers first will have an advantage over the other. He is set for an official visit to Nebraska on January 21st, Marvin wants him to meet Tim Beck and this guy is being recruited as a RB. His recruitment is just now heating up, as of now he only has one offer (Idaho State) but Nebraska and Washington are close to offering.

Interesting stat sheet:

120 carries for 1270 yards (10.78 avg) and 19 TDs.

4 receptions for 93 yards

Big Wow: 2 kickoff returns: 1 for 96 yards and 1 for 86 yards.

On defense:

47 tackles, 3 Int (1 returned 99 yards), 5 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble

What class level does he play at? Like 5A, 4A... ?

It appears to be the second largest class in Los Angeles.

If it was because of Herd, then you would think the coaches would have been chasing additional RB's all semester. The coaches knew there was a good chance he wouldnt qualify for some time now so they would have been chasing other guys. It makes more sense that this has to do with Tray leaving. Or a combination of the Braylon herd situation they already knew about and now Trey too...

visiting Washington 1/28

Visiting Nebraska 1/21

Washington is recruiting him either at running back or defensive back where Nebraska is recruiting him at running back.

He likes the way both schools run the football. To bad we don't run the option anymore because he would be a good fit for the option.
