irieboy8
Commit without stepping foot on campus. Deion should be a 4* player once his film hits the recruiting sites if all is to believed to be true with this guy. From what I've heard, the kid is an absolute monster of a LB, but isn't widely known because of his lack of film at this point. I see he was an All Stater and the his numbers are legit. And the stars are probably do to lack of film. So in theory, after this kid tears it up again this fall, and LSU throws out the offer he is gone. After waiting several fruitless months for scholarship offers from LSU and Alabama that never arrived, Jesuit linebacker Deion Jones decided the time had arrived to make a college selection. lionsfan93
His star rating will definetely get bumped up...how many 's have you seen with an offer list like that. And he says that his dad wants him to get out and see other places, but that he is "more than positive" that he is solid on This is a big pick up. Welcome Deion Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
Really smart move by this kid to commit sight unseen considering the small class we're expecting. I'm glad he's N, but I wouldn't consider this a lock at all especially if an SEC team were to offer. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
He won't leave after Mr. Rose gets to talking to him about being a blackshirt together. Quote Link to comment
iruletheskool
I like the pickup, and am not too terribly worried about him decommitting. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
He's a little light for a linebacker, but his speed makes up for it. Welcome , Jones Quote Link to comment
caveman99
He's a little light for a linebacker, but his speed makes up for it. Welcome , Jones His coach says he projects to weigh 220 when he graduates hs, if he does get up to that size and retains his speed that would be awesome. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
He's a little light for a linebacker, but his speed makes up for it. Welcome , Jones Um, pretty sure they said the same thing about Lavonte David. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
He's a little light for a linebacker, but his speed makes up for it. Welcome , Jones He said in his rivals article his size was the issue with bama and LSU. Though it sounds like he could've gotten a LSU offer if he'd gone to their camp, couldn't due to a death in the family. He'll be big enough, he's bigger than Santos was when we offered him, kid can fly to the rock. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFowler
will visit for the Tenn_chat game according to his rivals profile Also sounds like PJ Smith has alot to do with his recruitment My link Quote Link to comment
C N Red
With his speed I could see him at SS. Could be a devastating hitter if gets a little bigger and can keep his speed!! Could see him look like an Eric Berry, Ed Reed, or Sean Taylor!! Quote Link to comment
ADS
With his speed I could see him at SS. Could be a devastating hitter if gets a little bigger and can keep his speed!! Could see him look like an Eric Berry, Ed Reed, or Sean Taylor!! We recruited him as a LB, and he will play LB when he gets here. That was a main reason we secured his committment, alot of other schools saw him as a DB. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
He's a little light for a linebacker, but his speed makes up for it. Welcome , Jones Um, pretty sure they said the same thing about Lavonte David. And probably the same that was said about Terrell Farley or DeMario Williams. Just think about the 94-95, well the glory years at NU, and think about OLBs like Eric Johnson, Tony Ortiz, Jamal Williams, etc. All guys that could fly not a one checking in over 225 Quote Link to comment
