Miller's ankle injury was the biggest factor, and not a way you want to win... Great comeback and a nice display of "heart" by the Huskers!

This doesn't erase the fact that the defense was awful vs. tOSU with B. Miller. We didn't so much win this game vs. tOSU, rather they lost the key to their team.

Nonetheless, it feels great to be on the W side of this one, especially headed into a bye week.

Plus, let's not overlook the fact that, statistically, this tOSU defense was twice as good as the defense we played last week (not trying to be ugly, Badger guests/fans--just looking at the numbers.

What opened this game up for us was that downfield pass to Quincy--tOSU hadn't expected it all night, and as soon as we pulled it off, they stopped crowding the D-Line and our RBs could breathe (and run) and our O-Line was *magically* competent again.

If Martinez can work on/improve his downfield passing, then our offense will be something magical, and the second go-around with Wisconsin will be a completely different affair.

Great game. Like watching TWO games, of course.

Great job by OSU in the first half, and NU in the 2nd.

I hope we can get it together for the rest of our inaugural B1G schedule, or this will be a troubling time.

Hats off to OSU, and to their fans. Very nice folks, and I think we will fit in well in our new conference.
