jacobeharding
BS. We'll get plenty of coverage on the Big Ten Network, screw ESPN We have our own NETWORK?!?! Yeah it's nice not being in the Texas conference. *crappy blog link spam* I get that you're trying to spam your blog, but I don't care, sneakily getting me to click your link isn't getting you ad-views either. If you have something to offer to a thread try actually replying with substance. This is the husker blog equivalent of an online pill spammer. and for the record "people" does not include some random dude on his lame blog or bleacher report. Whoa easy now...don't take it so personal Quote Link to comment
Landlord
The Capital One Bowl is the most highly publicized bowl game in the nation outside of the BCS games - Don't worry USC fans, you'll be talked about plenty. Quote Link to comment

I saw a bunch of "OSU's Nuts Can't Hang With Our c$%ks!" That was a classic, and a bunch of buckeyes commented to me about it at the tailgate. Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
I still get a kick out of the shirts some of you guys had when Chris Smelley was your QB. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
I do have to say, the inter-team banter for this year's bowl game is decidedly better (read: friendlier) than in previous years. Perhaps I will have to root for uSC in their future SEC endeavors, in spite of Steve Spurrier being the coach there. Quote Link to comment

rawhide
Why is that. Last meeting I believe we owned his team. And he is a good coach for the c$%ks Quote Link to comment

I never liked him, but he coached some good teams. The run-up to his infamous drubbing was rife with the 'ole ball coach smoozing the press and being rather matter-of-fact with how bad Florida was going to run all over DoNU. Lee Corso was effectively an extended mouthpiece for the 'ole Ball Coach during that time. Prior to the run-up, Spurier had a reputation of being cocky which Nebraska fans could accept (read: Switzer). During the course of the run-up, he unfurled a campaign of asshattery and douchebaggery unparalleled to this day against Nebraska. Long story short, his mouth wrote so many checks his ass couldn't cash, it's a wonder the Florida Athletic Department didn't go bankrupt after the game was over. Quote Link to comment

"My c$%k is Smelley" Oh yeah, that was fantastic. I'm still waiting for the day when we can play the Oregon State Beavers. The shenanigans will be reCockulous! Quote Link to comment
Chucktown Husker
I just wish I could go to the game. It's the 2nd bowl game within a short drive and I'm either out of town or working. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Any matchup South Carolina is in, they are not talked about. By anyone. I'm pretty sure we could be in the NC and not get talked about. Add all the rematch controversy, and this game may go fairly unnoticed. So if you were looking for ESPN analyst opinions, we're sorry. All jokes aside, I'm very much looking forward to this game. It's a great matchup with two great fanbases. Cursed????? For a second there, I thought we were going to have to play Washington again....
