It’s definitely more spoof /comedy than baking show . Some of the “fails”the contestants made were amusing to me . Quote Link to comment

Oh sure, I may have caught a few minutes here and there as I was grazing the channels. But I've never seen an episode end to end. Until tonight. How could I not have appreciated this before? It's great! And seeing him on the show makes me all the more sad about Bourdain's untimely death. I 've started watching it too. I was never a close follower of any of his shows. So I was kind of surprised a celebrity chef seemed to have such a huge impact on so many people. After watching the first few seasons it's easy to see why. And sadly in hindsight it's not terribly difficult to pick up on his chronic depression and suicidal tendencies. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
My wife and I started streaming Sharp Objects on HBO yesterday and we watched the first two episodes. I've got to say it's not what I expected after watching the trailers but we're really enjoying it. It's about a St. Louis journalist named Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) who is forced by her editor to return to her home town of Wind Gap and cover what may be the second murder of a young girl in less than a year. The narrative weaves its way around Camille's alcoholism/depression (which has yet to be fully explained), her inability to connect with many people emotionally, her distant/chaotic relationship with her family and the murders. 1 Quote Link to comment
sho
I really enjoyed Safe on Netflix. Has a Broadchurch feel. Michael C Hall is a British doctor and looks to find his daughter after she didn't come home from a party. Good mystery and keeps you guessing until the end. Only 8 episodes and no second season. It's a good weekend binge show. Quote Link to comment

Hooked on Huskers
Last Chance U (2017 Kansas JUCO football - real story) https://www.netflix.com/title/80091742 https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2018/malik-henry-208473 OleMiss, Oregon and Huskers wants him (school offer).
