knapplc
Helu, Kerrigan voted to All-Rookie team The Redskins’ Ryan Kerrigan and Roy Helu were named to the Pro Football Weekly/Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team announced today. ... Helu was taken out of Nebraska with a fourth-round pick (105th overall). He led the team in rushing with 640 yards, a total he attained despite starting just five games. Showing he was a dual threat out of the backfield, Helu set a team record with 14 receptions in the team’s game against the 49ers. Way to go, Roy. 2 Quote Link to comment
Comish
Under-rated as a Husker...............as a draftee.................and early in the season............ But look out now.................I see him as a 1000 yard rusher in that offense as a feature back............. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
The Patsies had Irving Fryar, Toby Williams and Don Westbrook. I was thinking there were more, but not according to Huskers.com. Quote Link to comment

PuttinUp6
The problem is that Mike Shanahan goes through RBs like crazy.....he doesnt even need a reason to do so..... Hopefully Helu becomes the standard back there Quote Link to comment

Hopefully Helu becomes the standard back there He just likes to feed his ego by showing the world he can have any back rush for 1000 yards. Hope he sticks with Roy though, one of my favorite huskers.
