Harrison is joined by Norris, Neb., catcher Jakson Reetz at No. 62, and Puerto Rican signee Luis Alvarado at No. 493. The first round of the MLB Draft gets underway on Thursday evening, with later round to follow later in the weekend. No player currently on Nebraska's roster made the list. The deadline for MLB draft picks to sign professional contracts is July 18. what list.... to be drafted or top picks? I assume draft-eligible. Almost has to be because Boldt is a top three projection in two years. im surprised, I would have thought that Sinclair, DeLeon, and Hirsch would all get drafted... even if in late rounds. also possibly Pritch, Kubat, Bummer, and Kelly.
