Not sure what this guy projects to on the next level, but he looks like a pretty good, all around, blue collar athlete.

LB. Not sure which one but probably outside. May be hard to get playing time with Bando, Love being OLBs to. I think we offered him because Afalava is unsure if he will make it to Nebraska because of academic issues. Charles Jackson 2.0

LB? With that frame? I was thinking more DB/WR.

Said that at the Nebraska combine he would be a linebacker or a safety. If he would play linebacker it would be outside linebacker. No idea where he would be at safety.

As I posted in a different topic on him. I know this kid, and he was waiting for us to offer. He will play safety first and possibly OLB if they ask him to bulk up.

Okay, if his numbers, height and weight are correct, then it is pretty clear that this kids only "issue" is playing where he plays. Right?

The article I read says he is out for track now and with that speed I would hope in the sprints. Never know however. Scott Frost was a sprinter and shotputter in HS.

Glad we have the numbers to pick up kids like this and develop them. I also see him at saftey but you never know how much weight a kid can gain after a couple years of college, so i could see him maturing into an OLB if hes a true 200 as a junior. Looks like he loves to hit, he would be good at either position in my opinion. Would think he would be our next commit, and thats fine by me.

Glad we finally offered this kid, just like Morrow from Kansas it's only a matter of time before his recruitment absolutely blows up.

I live pretty close to Sioux falls... Looked up his schedule... Gonna try and make a few of his games!! Looks like a stud to me!

Also I know a long time referee who has done some of his games... The ref knows his dad and he wants to come to NU!!!! This ref also says his film doesn't do him justice...but the depth of talent in 11a in south dakota is only comparable to class B in Nebraska!

Could be a good thing we jumped-in before a rush started.

as aspeedlin said the offers will come for this kid. Iowa State has now offered and he thinks arizona st and michigan st will offer soon

It does look like we may have beaten the rush. ISU isn't much competition but ASU and MSU could be. Think he'll be N.

Gerry looks like he'd be a great get for us. I think his high school, Washington, is a powerhouse in South Dakota football. Washington is a little bit bigger than Lincoln East.

I also live a few miles from Sioux Falls, SD.....SF Washington is probably one of the top two schools in the state.....The competition level isnt real high though....He will play 4-5 games that will end by halftime due to the mercy rule....He still looks like a good athlete, I agree that his tape probably doesnt do him justice....Hope he's N....

good to see this kid some offers. he will be ours in the end high 3 star and maybe even a 4star when they evaluate him. Also will likely play in an all-star game from what Im hearing

He is not ours yet. I recall on a couple sure gets for the 2012 class that ended up leaving us in the dust. Great that he will play in an all star game kid deserves it.

is the 57th best Safety on scout and a 3 star. 247 has finally evaluated him and ranked him as a 84 rating 3 star and 84th best athlete. A lot worse ranking than I thought but it doesnt matter if he has a good senior campaign he will go up.

It's because he plays in South Dakota. That instantly drops him down to a 3-star rating

I think he is a lot like Haag. Could be a Peso & Strong Safety.

I think this guy fits perfectly into what they try to do on D and the South Dakota & Nebraska cultures are the same. He should feel right at home right away.
