HUSKER 37
Never been to one of these coffee places, but some of these drinks sound tasty http://www.yummly.co...ks-secret-menu/ 8 Awesome Drinks from Starbucks’ “Secret Menu” The “Secret Menu” at Starbucks is a collection of beverages created and spread by word of mouth between intrepid coffee experimenters across the country. Like most “secret menus,” getting these drinks is just about taking advantage of the extras or special requests your local chains are usually happy to fulfill. It’s not a real part of the Starbucks menu, so the names of these drinks are fan-created and non-official, which means they might not be known by the baristas behind the counter at your local chain. However, as long as you know what’s in ‘em, you can ask and receive! Cake Batter Frappuccino This is a vanilla frappuccino with almond flavoring added. If your local chain doesn’t carry almond syrup, try it with hazelnut syrup instead. Zebra Mocha This drink, also known as a tuxedo mocha or marble mocha, is a cross between the white chocolate mocha and the regular mocha. Ask for both chocolate syrup and white chocolate syrup in your mocha, and voila! French Press Coffee It’s French Press coffee, obviously. No tricks here – just ask them to brew any coffee in the french press, and enjoy! It might take a few minutes longer, though, so be prepared to wait. Captain Crunch Fappuccino Order up a strawberries and cream frappuccino and ask for a little hazelnut or toffee nut syrup added, and you’ll have yourself a drink that many say taste just like the cereal! Snickers Frappuccino What do you get when you combine a java chip frappuccino with two pumps of toffee nut syrup and drizzle it all over with caramel? A drink that tastes just like a snickers! Biscotti Frappuccino If you buy the biscotti separately, some Starbucks locations will blend it into your frappuccino! However, not all locations will use their blenders on baked goods, so your request might be denied. Samoa Frappuccino Love Samoa Girl Scout Cookies? Ask for a drizzle of caramel over a mocha coconut frappuccino and you’ll a drink that tastes just like the cookie! Thin Mint Frappuccino To try this delicious cookie-inspired drink, order a Tazo green tea crème frappuccino and mix in an extra pump of chocolate syrup and java chips. Quote Link to comment
