Quote Three adults involved face charges from the incident in Disneyland’s Toon Town on July 6 that was witnessed by dozens of Disney guests and caught on video that went viral, according to a press release. “The Orange County District Attorney’s Office does not tolerate domestic violence or child endangerment anywhere,” said Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer in the release. Facing five felony charges and nine misdemeanors is Avery Desmond-Edwinn Robinson, 35, of Las Vegas. He was seen in the video, which was reviewed by the district attorney after it was shared on social media, as the main aggressor that involved punches thrown, hair pulled and verbal assaults involving his sister, brother-in-law and girlfriend. The DA’s office said the incident endangered his child and three other children that were part of the family group visiting the theme park. The DA’s office said he threatened to kill members of the family as he drove out of a Disneyland parking complex, and is also accused of assault with his vehicle of a Disneyland employee after the family was escorted out of the park by park security. In the video from YouTube, which contains violent images and language, Avery Robinson can be heard saying “I’m ready to go to jail tonight.” The felony charges include one count of domestic battery with corporal injury, one count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury on a woman with whom he was in a dating relationship, one count of assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of criminal threats, according to the release.
