Redreign22
Seriously is Indiana football above our competition level? I do not believe they have better athletes so what is the deal? Quote Link to comment
huskerhill
Seriously is Indiana football above our competition level? I do not believe they have better athletes so what is the deal? Are you asking is Indiana better than everyone else Nebraska plays? Quote Link to comment

Transitive property doesn't work dude. You know what the problem is? Our defense is terrible. Maybe it's because we've come to using Fullbacks as Lbs. I'm not ok with this but it's great to have the coaches build on without losing a game. Plenty of mistakes to go over all week to prepare for Turdue. 49 points to IU is the most given up. It's kinda like Woody's first game vs IU but just a bit better because we didn't lose(although it felt like we did). 1 Quote Link to comment
NUance
Turdue. lol And, No to the OP. The Hoosiers are not better than us. 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
I will give credit to Indiana that they are actually more competitive this year, losses to Michigan St. and Ohio St. by a combined 7 points. As far as talent though, it's not even close we are much more talented Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
Teams shouldn't even play. We should play about four weeks and then use computers to determine the national champion. Quote Link to comment
Fridge56Vet
The D phoned it in the last 2 minutes w/sloppy tackling & dumb penalties. Hats off to IU for playing hard & never quitting. Hopefully this serves as a wake-up call for the Bucks D. You guys would've scored more had Burkhead not gotten hurt, too. Quote Link to comment
tschu
We're much better than Indiana. Crazy sh#t happens in football games though; don't read too much into it. Quote Link to comment
clyde40
Different week, different scheme, totally different circumstances. Tonight Indiana didn't turn the ball over and had four penalties. They aren't better but, they did have a cleaner game playing Ohio State than we did that and it was played at Indiana. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I thought the Buckeyes' run D was awesome. So is this the secondary issues coming to light that we've seen some OSU fans talking about? Quote Link to comment
Fridge56Vet
Linebacking corps is decimated. On top of that Klien got injured in 2nd half, too. Quote Link to comment
Fridge56Vet
That & the tackling in space has been a bit sloppy. Quote Link to comment
WoodyHayes1951
I thought the Buckeyes' run D was awesome. So is this the secondary issues coming to light that we've seen some OSU fans talking about? Our Lbs haven't been good since 2010. This has been a huge issue. Klein? no, Shazier? meh. Sabino is meh and he's hurt for 4 weeks. Dline is inconsistent but I firmly believe it's the best in the Conference by far. No other team has a top-5 draft pick AND John Simon. They suffer because we have no Lbs who can provide a decent blitz. Secondary is inconsistent as well but a lot of the issues can be traced back to the LB play. They don't get much help. WoodyHayes1951
This is what happens when you miss with Big Time recruits. Storm Klein? top 250 player, Etienne Sabino? Top-50 Player, Curtis Grant? The #2 overall recruit in the country, Not good......We have highly ranked recruits on the bench/special teams that hopefully will make a difference next year.
