Fanatic24
Stumbled upon a cool chart the breaks down all the current NFL Players who are on an active roster by School, Conference, Position and Drafted Round. Huskers currently rank 12th in Division 1 with 30 players. NFL College Pipelines Chart Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I'm surprised Oklahoma is so low. Also somewhat surprised Boise State isn't on that list. Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Why do they still have Jared Crick still listed as a DE? He was recruited to Nebraska as DE but never played there except in some 3-4 schemes. He is now in the NFL and last I watched him he is almost playing a nose tackle position. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
I like to look at who's in the league and do I see them as long term players. And the answer my friends is yes. With the exception of some of our kicker/punters who are getting a little long in the toothe, I think the majority of our guys in the league have bright futures. I don't know how my buddy Russ Hochstein keeps hanging on but he is. Helps to be versatile. Quote Link to comment
robsker
Man... you would think that Miami would be quite a bit better than they have been. They sure get top-end elite talent. Wonder why they have been pretty much second/third tier these past 7-8 years? Quote Link to comment

I think it's a mindset that maybe those players play through college worrying about the NFL, knowing they have that opportunity, as opposed to the Kstates of the world taking a group of good players and unifying them into a great team. Haspula
I think stafford, Eric Martin, Compton, Reed, Ben cotton, Rex bezzy, and maher all go pro. Steinkuhler is a toss up. He has nfl size Quote Link to comment

He has nfl size These two will be two of the biggest steals of the draft/free agency. (Idk if Reed will get drafted) Quote Link to comment

KC Cowboy
I posted this in the other thread, but I think it more applies here. My point is that we don't have any NFL-caliber linemen to back up our speed players. In the last 3 years on either side of the ball, we have: Suh (Lions) Starter Ricky Henry (Saints) Has played in 1 pro game in his career Jamarcus Hardrick (Saints) Has never played a pro game Jared Crick (Texans) 2nd-string, 20 tackles in 13 games Keith Williams (Bills) 2nd-string Mike McNeill (Rams) 3rd-string, 4 career catches Marcel Jones (Saints) Hasn't played since preseason We have only 4 players that have played more than 1 game. Pretty poor showing, if you ask me. For comparison, Wisconsin has: Garrett Graham (Texans) Starter Travis Beckum (Giants) Starter Gabe Carimi (Bears) Starter Lance Kendricks (Rams) Starter Peter Konz (Falcons) Starter John Moffitt (Seahawks) Starter Bill Nagy (Lions) Starter (before season-ending knee injury) Matt Shaughnessy (Raiders) Starter Kraig Urbik (Bills) Starter J.J. Watt (Texans) Starter Kevin Zeitler (Bengals) Starter This explains so much about the thrashing we got in the CCG. 1 Quote Link to comment
