Lots of times yes, but if they are not good wrestlers they don't have those things. So you really want to look for the big guys that are top notch HS wrestlers as they will have the quickness, good feet, and good leverage. Basketball they don't get the leverage work but you can tell alot by if the he's a big guy and how he moves feet and quickness. Quote Link to comment

That is why some schools send coaches to watch them play their winter sport before being offered. OSU did that with the DT out of WI from Sun Prarie. Quote Link to comment

I don't know how long he has been wrestling, but MW has a great youth club and a good high school record. I would say Philips will be a very athletic big guy and a great pick up.
