Waterfowl Hunting

Recommended Posts

Used to . . . not much time for it lately. (By used to I mean improvised blinds on our river ground/jump shooting off creeks/etc.) I've never taken it very seriously.

We do have 20 acres that is just begging for a pond and pit blinds . . . maybe I'll get around to that after about a dozen more home improvement projects. :hmmph

I love waterfowl hunting, its the eating of said waterfowl that keeps me from doing it more often. I'll eat upland birds anytime, but ducks and geese, nah.

There are places in state that have very good hunting. I was lucky enough to get in on that at the end of 2012. 3 of us limited out on mallards and got a bonus duck to boot in about 2hours one morning. Great time.
