lionsfan93
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIoWZGuuu40 Honestly, I was not very impressed at all by his workout film. His front squat seems to be below average and his power clean was also sub par. Anyone else agree? Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIoWZGuuu40 Honestly, I was not very impressed at all by his workout film. His front squat seems to be below average and his power clean was also sub par. Anyone else agree? Yes, I do agree. Unrelated but something funny I found at the 1:32-1:45 mark in that video. The two kids standing in the back appear to be mocking him. Quote Link to comment

He looks like he has the ability to have some good gains before his senior season. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIoWZGuuu40 Honestly, I was not very impressed at all by his workout film. His front squat seems to be below average and his power clean was also sub par. Anyone else agree? As far as weight wise, he could probably do more but his form looks good on both. The only thing I didn't like was that he was bouncing the bar of his chest on bench and he could slow down when doing the lifts. Quote Link to comment
Husker from Kansas
He will make huge gains once he gets into a legit college weight program. Quote Link to comment
why not
Attended the Best of the Midwest Camp and was named the 2nd best overall prospect, which included in attendance some of the top rated players in the Midwest. Why is someone from North Carolina playing in a Best of the Midwest camp? Is there a Midwest connection or just an extremely liberal definition of Midwest? Quote Link to comment

Does he realize that it doesn't count as a max if the spotter keeps his hands on the bar the entire time? Quote Link to comment
Joe_5700
You guys who are critical of how much he (a highschool WR prospect) can lift are pretty funny. I'm sure Matt Davison was not as strong at this point... Heck, I'd pay money to see what everyone's max bench press (verified) and 40 times (verified) were. It would make for a very comical thread. teachercd
I don't think he was showing off his max, I think he was doing his (or his schools version) of Bigger-Faster-Stronger. This is a workout video, thats it, not a power lifting competition video. Quote Link to comment
Creighton Duke
I get what you're saying, but I guess I don't understand why it bothers to show how much weight he is using then. Quote Link to comment

Probably because video edititing software can be fun to use! You should see the stuff my kids in class add in for no reason! Quote Link to comment
