The FIghting Erstad's Vs. The Fighting Van Horn's

Recommended Posts

Should be two good games.

We're starting Fr RHP Trey Killian (3-2, 2.67) in the first game and Sr LHP Tyler Wright (1-1, 0.00) in the second. Hope we can get over that extra inning LSU loss pretty quick.

My guess would be by about the 3rd man in your batting order.

Wright is 1-1 with a 0.00 ERA? Is he normally a closer or something?

If our inconsistency at the plate and since we are pitching midweek pitchers i would assume that the hogs will get over that loss very quickly. I hope for a really good game. This team could show up like friday and pitch well and put 11 on the board and score with RISP... or we could come out flat and get blown out of the park that Van Horn built... we shall see

He usually plays in midweek relief but he played against LSU last friday. Poche was our other midweek starter but had a bad outing last week in a loss to new mexico so Wright is getting the start tomorrow. He's only pitched 14 innings all year, granted we have a deep bullpen.

Our fielding is last in the SEC, we have over 60 errors on the year but not a pitcher above a 3.00 ERA. They were better last weekend though but we've lost 5 games just on errors alone.

Fielding is overrated, you'll be fine. These games should be fun, but I'm not expecting much from us. Make sure you stick around and talk some college baseball on the board as the CWS approaches, gohogs. :thumbs

Not sure this matters to this series, but it's pretty unfortunate for the Razorbacks:

Arkansas Pitcher Booted From Team After Arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn has kicked pitcher Thomas Altimont off the team following his arrest for kidnapping and assault.

Altimont was arrested Friday on allegations that he held a woman against her will and assaulted her. Police say Altimont was arrested by officers responding to a domestic disturbance call.

Altamont was not scheduled to pitch today against the Huskers.

He'd only pitched like 6 innings all year but he just decided to go crazy, choking himself and biting the girl's hair out eyeswear2allthatsholy
