Hoping for a good PC version still. nVidia had some driver info show up last week, but other than that no hard evidence.

Ratings boards already leaked that there will be a PC version, and IIRC, Rockstar already copped to a PC version...but it will come out after the console launch, like GTA IV did.

Hopefully they'll optimize the PC version for the platform--IV was just a resource hog and a mess.

If they don't, the modding community well.

Yeah, Rockstar has tended to treat the PC like a redheaded stepchild, like many console first devs tend to. Hopefully with what amounts to one unified architecture across all 3 major platforms for the next gen, that will come to an end.

Well, and there's been speculation that with GTA V releasing so late in the console lifecycle (later than San Andreas, at any rate), and with them delaying the PC release, that Rockstar will look to port GTA V to the XBox One and PS4 soon after the PC version comes out.

The rumor makes sense considering your point, Strigori.

Add in Sony announcing an 'upgrade system' for games that will be both PS3 and PS4, I would bet on it.

  • 2 weeks later...

This game will be epic and I will get NOTHING done for months while I play it...............I already told my wife the new one was coming out and I'd be busy shooting hookers to get my money back!

Um...would you mind clarifying? Just wanting to know if we need to reach out to the Des Moines PD to let the area prostitutes know you'll be hunting them down for money to buy video games with...
