walksalone
A) Beck trying to run a "sped" up offense needs to slow down. B) Apparently it's almost physically impossible for Pap to send more than 4 guys C) For the first two quarters, it was almost physically impossible for Beck to run guys up the gut D) We are continuing the trend of not being a "1st Half" team E) Whenever Smith handed the ball off, our LB's disappeared F) The RB's were the best performers for the game G) Beck needs to realize that throwing the ball is not wise when trying to kill the clock and preserve the lead Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
I don't know what to say anymore. I feel like we can go ahead and just replay the last five years of conversation on this board and it might all still fit the situation. Sad. It's just one game. A lot of new faces. Smith is playing out of his mind. We look terrible. I hope it gets better. 3 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
I don't think I learned anything. Nothing's changed. It's the Bo Pelini era. Brace yourself. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
H) our coaching staff, Pap and Beck especially, almost cost us this game... Quote Link to comment

streckdog
Defense needs to learn how to hold their own...fast. Quote Link to comment
The Snork
Offense looks good (when they're allowed to play Nebraska football). Quote Link to comment
tschu
Now we know why Bo closed the practices to the media and former players. 4 Quote Link to comment
Mars
The defense is great. They only gave up 602 yards this time. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
We only send 4. Any offensive player in motion immediately gets lost. Our staff, for all of the internet abuse probably deserve it. I am watching Clemson with a solid DC and OC (highest paid in college) getting it done................... 2 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
1)Our defense is worse than last year 2) The Wyoming fans weren't kidding, Brett Smith is a MAN 3) If Taylor's shoulder doesn't heal we are toast 4) I'm excited for Newby Quote Link to comment

gobiggergoredder
Offense -Our Skilled positions are rediculous Defense -The problems are not the lack of speed propaganda we've be sold. We have people that can make plays -There isn't a DB in the country that can cover when with no pass rush. -I don't get Bo's Defensive Scheme. Only send 4. Throw 1-2 LB our there to cover the entire field. 6-7 DB's run around for 10 seconds trying to cover like it's back yard football. General Observations -Coaches don't seem to be able to adjust. Example (Wyoming Punting Game). The obviously had a plan that the punter was going to hang on to the ball as long as he could before he punted. It killed field position. They did it over and over and over again. Quote Link to comment
