QMany
Terrifying injury for TMagics future and our offense this year. Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
Next one up, let's go Armstrong. You're the future of NEB football on the offense. Sadly...why would you play him during the UCLA and run plays like that if he has turf toe!??? Obviously he thought he was ok to go, but his play showed otherwise sadly. I am a huge TMart fan, but if you're not 100%, let the future of the Huskers get a shot to do something with the ball (this is more of a coaches decision). The offense needed a spark last Saturday and the offense sure as hell didn't help the defense..... Quote Link to comment
huskerhaze
Just saw this on Twitter. Hope the injury doesn't linger. Quote Link to comment
Red Tape
Turf Toes and Hamstrings are bad news injuries. Here's to a quick recovery. Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
Dang I hope T-Mart get well quickly. I'd love to see RKIII or Tommy Armstrong get full game experience, but not at the expense of an injury. What ever skills you want to assign to Martinez, that kid has given his blood and body to this team for four years. That's enough for my admiration. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Turf toe is the absolute worst. And doesn't go away quickly. Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
Do we want to run more? Have Armstrong start. But truthfully I'd rather have Kellogg out there because he'll probably be able to get it to the playmakers easier. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJax
Lets see what tommy can do Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
I believe he had turf toe several years ago?.....it takes a long time to heal...Kellogg or Armstrong, bring them on...SDSU is a good game to bring them in...they both need playing time. Quote Link to comment
Nobody
i wonder if he re injured it or what. Quote Link to comment
admo
Ouch that's no bueno for TM. Hope he recovers fully by Northwestern just in case. I'm all for seeing Armstrong out there and some Kellogg too. Quote Link to comment
Whistlebritches
We shouldn't need our starting quarterback to beat SDSU and if Taylor is fighting turf toe then there really isn't reason for him to play. Turf toe will linger almost indefinitely until some time is taken off. If Armstrong or RK3 have a great day then things are going to get interesting. A quarterback controversy is one more thing I'm sure Bo would like to avoid. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
Sit Taylor this week. Bring him back against Illinois. Let that injury heal the best it can. Turf toe never goes away if you don't rest it. Quote Link to comment
