skersfan
One of the greatest plays ever made at Memorial Stadium, and our players can not get credit for it. Pretty sure Taylor was wearing a Northwestern uniform. Quote Link to comment
rdwoodpecker
I give lots of credit to the coach that had Ron enter the game! His proior possesion I believe, ended with an interception(not sure however). I would assume it is Beck's call, does not matter whoever made that last drive call needs a huge pat on the back! Nobody
i'm just glad that the nw secondary is bad enough to tip up a ball that doesnt even have the juice to make it to the endzone. I thought Enunwa tipped it, like, on purpose. False. Dont let it come off sounding dooshy. Im genuinely glad that nw player tipped the ball. Quote Link to comment

lo country
Should be an inspiration to other walk-ons and guys down the depth chart. Any given Sat you might get the chance to make one of the greatest plays EVER! Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Thank you Ron, you made up for the interception earlier in the game for sure! Great drive to give us a chance at a hail mary there. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Gotta feel good for the senior! I'll leave it at that.... I suspect the stadium will be very loud for him on Senior Day. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
RKIII - smartest man on the field - after the play he ran AWAY from the mob Quote Link to comment

The Dude
LOL @ everyone in the game thread that called for a complete switch to TA. Love TA, but RKIII deserved time too. Awesome, awesome play! To be fair, the coaching staff handles the QB situation poorly, imo. Early in the game Armstrong was playing great. Running the option to perfection, throwing balls with pinpoint accuracy. So what does the coaching staff do? Naturally, they pull him from the game. Uhh, why? Then later on when he was struggling, they just kept him out there winging the ball around. Makes no sense. ladyhawke
I'm so pleased for Ron! Well done young man! What a way to end your Husker career! Not to change the subject but can someone explain to me why we keep passing the ball when the run game is working? I just do not get that!! We run the option so beautifully! Run the dang ball!
