Eric the Red
Player: Ryan Miller Hometown: Littleton, CO Position: OL Height: 6’8” Weight: 266 40 time: 5.24 Visit Date: Scholarships offered: Colorado, Kansas State, Nebraska, Texas, Washington and Miami, Notre Dame, USC Favorites: Committed to Colorado Rankings/Stars: Rivals: NR/ Bid Red Report: NR/ Assessing the talent: He was an all-state player in Colorado as a junior this year. He’s a little undersized for D-1A football right now. What ever program he signs with will easily beef him up. He has amazing tools to be a big time player. Size and smarts will take an offensive tackle a long way. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 10% Huskers are the first to offer and will no doubt go after him hard this summer and push to get him in at a summer camp. Quote Link to comment
HuskersGJ
From the Rocky Mountain News Dec. 15: Ryan Miller, Columbine • Pos.: OL • Ht.: 6-8 • Wt.: 270 • He's All-Colorado because . . . Miller, a two-year starter for the Rebels and one of two All-Colorado juniors, is strong on both sides of the ball but better known for his work on offense. He has splendid speed and agility and is considered a superb blocker in either run or pass-protection situations. Miller had three sacks on defense. He also excels in wrestling and track. • Colleges considered: Colorado, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Texas. http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/prep...4315943,00.html Can you run a 5.2 and still "excel" in track? I wonder if that's a 40 time that won't change in the next year. Quote Link to comment

Perhaps they meant "track and field"? Shot-put and discus? that's right-- duh. forgot the "field" part of "track". one of the local teams has played Columbine twice per season the last couple years. i don't know what the 2007 schedule looks like but if he keeps his interest in the Huskers, I may just be attending more HS games next year... chamrocck
Anybody know the latest on Ryan Miller? We need to land a stud o-lineman in this year's class and he would be the one. Colorado is having a bad year to say the least, so perhaps he is thinking about not going there...we are next door and would love to see him be N! I expect we will see Burkes in this class although he is more of a raw project. Can we get Miller in for a visit? Would be excellent to land both Burkes and Miller. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
He definately has the frame to add on the needed muscle to play in D-1!!!! What's better than our weight room and program!!!! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I would love to add him and a couple other o-line for this class. A team can never have too much talent on the o-line. Quote Link to comment

chamrocck
Committed to sCUm Too bad We need to pick up some O-lineman and he would have been excellent...I guess we were never really in it...he chose CU over Notre Dame Quote Link to comment
NU fan in Denver
That's surprising, the state of CO is usually good for sending their top 2 or 3 prospects out of state. I didn't think we had a shot at him, but I figured ND, or USC or Michigan would get him. Quote Link to comment
