zoogs
When has Taylor ever been booed in the stadium? I think Taylor would get a rousing ovation, well deserved. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
When has Taylor ever been booed in the stadium? I think Taylor would get a rousing ovation, well deserved. 2011 Ohio State? Quote Link to comment
krc1995
I'd be way more surprised if he got a "tremendous ovation" than I would be if he got booed. The vast majority of people have well more class than that. i got to believe the crowd goes nuts for taylor. i would be severely disappointed if the did not, let alone if they booed him. he gave everything to this program and was cheated out of his senior year. Don't be surprised when you hear a lot of boo's... if I hear even a smattering of boos Friday, I will serious consider severing my allegiances with DONU. That mindset is nothing I want to be a part of. He's a hero in my book. A classy dedicated hero Quote Link to comment
bale
When has Taylor ever been booed in the stadium? I think Taylor would get a rousing ovation, well deserved. Exactly.. you guys who are saying he'll be booed, did you ever go to a game he played in? When the PA announcer said at the beginning of every game 'starting at QB, Taylor Martinez!!!" there was always a very loud ovation. It will be much louder for Senior Day. You guys are crazy if you think otherwise. Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Martinez deserves a roaring cheer, I want the rafters shaking. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Don't be surprised when you hear a lot of boo's... No matter what people think of him, if we boo a four-year starter who has several dozen school records who is injured and done for his career, we can turn in our Greatest Fan award. 2 Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
If I hear booing..............I don't know what I'll do, I may take off my scarlet and cream because that would be complete and total B.S.! No way he gets booed............ Quote Link to comment
commando
i pity the fan who dares to Boo Taylor if he is anywhere near me. it would be worth missing the rest of the game to smack someone that would do that. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
i find booing your own players/coaches in general to be pretty distasteful. it always makes me cringe. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
He'll get a right good sendoff. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Dude was tough as nails and went above and beyond to get better. I wonder how we would have faired with a HEALTHY Martinez with complete control of the O. The fumbles would still be there (not a knock on Martinez) as evidenced by them without him and we would still have the bone headed penalties and dropped passes, but his speed could have been the difference. He deserves several minutes of applause. Would love to see him take a knee in the victory formation when we are up by 21! Quote Link to comment
krc1995
maybe he'll get a 5th year for a medical redshirt Quote Link to comment
JoeHuskers!
maybe he'll get a 5th year for a medical redshirt I think he could have if he didn't play the whole Minnesota game... Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
maybe he'll get a 5th year for a medical redshirt I like Taylor. I think he's a great player, but its time for us to move on Quote Link to comment
WizardOfOsbourne
If the Huskers get ahead in this game and have the ball at the end let him suit up and come out for a very victory kneel at the end of the game. Would that be possible? Quote Link to comment
