grandpasknee
If this needs to be merged into another thread, merge away. I couldn't find anything specific to this topic. Part of me wants to see TA get the start (if healthy) and work toward next year. But part of me also thinks it would be good to have TM on the field for a good send off and hopefully a good game. He could always be pulled if needed. I don't get a chance to follow all the bit by bit news, so is there any chance TM is ready to play by the bowl game? Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
As much as he frustrated me so many times over the years, I'd really like to see him play one last game and go out the way he deserved to. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Bo said there is a chance, yes. Quote Link to comment
KC Sker
Hells yeah! He really deserves at least one last blast. One of the best QBs in Neb history (yes, you read that right) should get a shot to go out a good note. Quote Link to comment
da skers
Nope. I think he's played his last game. Unless something really improves with his foot he's going to be out. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
It would be great if TM got the start or at least some meaningful play time to end his career here. If he's healthy enough and mobile, I've got to believe he would give us the best execution at that position, even having been sidelined for as long as he has. Of course with the caveat that Beck won't use him as primarily a pocket passer- we don't need to see that (Minnesota) again for any reason. Quote Link to comment
trouble
Only, and I mean only if he is absolutely completely 100% unhindered and healthy. If he is not and he starts, we will get our a$$ handed to us on a silver platter. Quote Link to comment
CBolin69
I would have no problem with him playing only if he is healed up with his foot issue. Would not want this kid to cause permanate damage to his foot just to play so yeah if healthy go for it Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I would like to see a healthy TM play. His career at NU is all about what could have been. Imagine the yards he would have gained, and wins he would have brought if he had never been injured. His speed as a freshman was unreal. I don't believe he ever regained full speed after his first injury. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinSunDiego
I've never been a TM fan. The guy had guts, but almost always under performed in big games. However, I'll admit that TM gives us a chance to score more points than does TA. If he's fit, let's use him. However, let's bring TA in for a few series, too. Quote Link to comment
Redux
At least let him Take the knee in a victory formation. Quote Link to comment

Red Tape
I wouldnt mind seeing him go out the way he came in. The guy was one of the fastest i have ever seen his freshman year... i had to pick my jaw up off the floor a couple times. His speed was unreal. I remember ESPN did one of their sports science features on his burst. That injury definitely slowed him down a step. Quote Link to comment
