Really like this guy. The little bit I've watched of Calvin Strong's highlights, he usually has some nice holes to run through. Looked to me like North's OLine is pretty good and this guys seems to be the best of the bunch.

He will have a better college career IMO than Strong. This kid has the makings to put out, a Tanner Farmer type senior year camp circuit type performance.

Benning thinks he will blow up nationally when camps roll around, if not before then. Still think he will be N.

Pfffttttt. He won't go to camp. He'll play Class A Nebraska football, which is pathetic competition. And he'll be forever destined to be a worthless 2-star that no one wants and the coaches are stupid for offering and, as a result, should be promptly fired. :)

Kids read these forums, the least you could do is put up a sarcasm sign lol

You are right, my bad my friends. :sarcasm You're a serious talent, Mr. Decker, we would love to have you.

Here is the watch list

http://www.studentsports.com/blog/2014/01/20/opening-2014-watch-list-offensive-line/

Looks like other 2015 with offers are on the list, such as Grant Schmidt and Martiz Ivey. Hope we can fill up our OLine with some solid talent next year, including some 500-mile radius guys.

loved everything that he saw and was even surprised about some things he hadn't seen.

Isn't going to rush into his commitment but Nebraska is definitely at the top of his list.

McKewon thinks he'll be "one of the top guards in the country" when he's rated.

If that is true, he is already one of the top guards in the country, regardless of where his is rated. Decker is our big time, in-state recruit. I could see him going the same route as Foster and wait to commit until after he hits some camps then lock him up around BRW.

Lil surprised he hasnt committed yet. Normally i wouldnt be but this will be a small class. Gotta get in and get your spot. What is number? 16 i think i heard? Probably will end up being closer to 19 or so after attrition and what not buy anything below 20 is a small class.

He's said from the start that he's not going to rush into committing, but we've always been at the top. The only way I don't see him coming here is if the coaching staff was fired. Pretty big lock imho.

He's going to decide before football starts, so plenty of spots open for him. I see this going like DJ Foster...wants to look around then decide before football, then commits at BRW. I'll even go out on a limb and call that Decker commits on BRW.

First In-state commit!

If like to say there will be more but with a small class and not a lot of really good prospects, he might be it.

CJ Junior, with an absolutely stellar June camp is probably the only other in stater with a chance at this point.

Back to Decker, great pick up. Want to see a man, watch the title game from last year again. Easily the most impressive kid on the field

Welcome Michael! Kid is a stud. For those who only care about ratings, I guarantee if he goes to camps this summer (recruiting service camps) he'll easily get bumped up (like Tanner Farmer last year).

Good for him. Daishon is someone I have been watching for this class since January/February. It's funny. I was just about to post a comment saying Daishon would be the other in-state guy I think could get an offer, besides Decker.
