Hunter94
if he truns out to be a player, it will be damn tough to get him out of Florida....... as we all know......... hunter Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
But NU does have the family connection. Works both ways sometimes though! Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
But NU does have the family connection. Works both ways sometimes though! LaTravis Washington, the cousin of former Husker Fabian Washington. He'll be here in the summer again. Quote Link to comment
mothy
Just got done watching video and I would perfer him over Bates any day. Great up side. Great potential at QB but could move positions if needed. Just an overall Great athlete. Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, scout as a teaser on washington, & his possible verbal sooner than later to his top school: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=522...2%2f522289.html p.s. I think that l washington will verbal to NU as a safety, because of his size, athleticism, & because of NU's great need for safeties, & a great chance of early playing time at the s position, plus f washington can give great insight of the db position at NU, & what the coaches need from their db's in technique, schemes, ect... BigWillie
I wouldn't be surprised to see him beef up some more and play LB in college. He's already at 215-220 with that type of speed. Quote Link to comment
hskr23
Well if he is anywhere near the talent level of his cousin there is no way Nebraska can let him go anywhere else. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
It's always good if we can keep those with family ties keep coming. Keep recruiting the family tree. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
This guy and Thigpen are 2 that are N, in my mind...they are sure commits in other words if you ask me, but they are waiting around seeing what else comes up and making sure they are making the right decision. Both will be nice pickups. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
if he does add 10-20 lbs and keeps his speed he will still be a good QB prospect Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
if he does add 10-20 lbs and keeps his speed he will still be a good QB prospect I am one that still wants to give him a shot at QB if/when he gets to lincoln even though we are recruiting him at safety...I just got a feeling, that him having Fabian's blood he will be electrifying and could be one bad mofo as a mobile QB... Hunter94
very possible, especially if we don't start getting some luv from some quality qb recruits..... hunter Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
If you want him as a QB, you better hope he improves that completion percentage. IIRC, it was around 47% last year. Quote Link to comment
Guest greenbayhusker
Husker Journal This may be old news, but some of the information shocked me! It seems like our competition will be Virginia, as he says he doesn't want to play in Florida (Miami (FL) has offered him a scholarship)! He seems to like us but maybe he's holding back about Virginia since they haven't offered him a scholarship yet! Either way, I sure hope we're recruiting him hard! Quote Link to comment
