Ok so... what do Starkville and Oxford have that Lincoln doesn't?

That's an inane statement since he's not going anywhere after that much success and if he for some reason did it wouldn't be to a more challenging recruiting situation. Comparing NU recruiting to cheating schools in talent rich regions is pointless. Unless you are one that thinks NU can or should try the same tactics.

Well, unless you have proof of them "cheating" then your argument is pointless, as well.

I love how any program who is more successful than Nebraska is "dirty" lol

I don't think that's the case at all. I do think though that NCAA compliance is at an all time low and that dirty programs are getting smarter and ballsier with their cheating. If you don't think all the smoke in the SEC in recent years is fire, then I don't know what to tell you. I will tell you that I'm proud that NU does things the right way and that I hope it never changes. We'd never be able to out cheat them anyway, and I'd just as soon we don't try.

Damn, you guys are just full of one excuse after another. Strange how all of this buying of players is taking place yet the NCAA knows nothing about it.

You're new here. I'll give you the guidelines.....

If you're talking recruiting, stars mean nothing, unless of course Nebraska lucks into a highly touted recruit, theme he's a Voltron of Tommie Frazier, Rex Burkhead, and Rex Burkhead.

If said commit switches schools, you must quickly and with extreme prejudice disparage this 18 year old kid. Claiming illegal coercion is the flavor of the day.

If he doesn't decommit, then he must be handled with the upmost decency and reverence, as he is fact, just a kid. Until of course he is unable to instantly walk onto the field and break records, then he is a "bust" who "doesn't get it" despite the fact he has received no development skills. (See QB 2009-present)

When all else fails, blame Nebraska itself, which is of course a desolate wasteland where Nothing Good For Young People Exists. Kids and coaches who grace this hell scape with their presence are saints and also hold our Very Important National Relevance in their grasp. If they leave, they hit the button on their Relevance key and we are doomed to a nuclear winter filled with Santino Panico highlights.

In case of extreme emergency, take the hammer to your left and break the Bill Callahan Glass Box and play the card therin. Explain to people that a poor coach who had two losing seasons but was stockpiling NFL talent is comparable to the SMU Death Penalty, the Marshall team plane crashing and the Dresden Bombings combined.

In extended prolonged cases, you will be asked to provide a list of candidates, reasons, quotes, really whatever you're talking about. The list will then be mocked and this process will reset itself.

Happy posting! (Remember, everyone ranked above us is overrated, and "really showed you nothing")

(Let's hope we can all laugh at ourselves here and realize this is a joke post).

You forgot if a recruit actually turns into a star, no credit to the coaches is to be given. It is because they are freak athletes and came into Nebraska like this. The most recent examples are Randy Gregory and Ameer Abdullah. Past examples include Suh, David, Amukamara, Dennard, Ect.

On the flip side, if a recruit never amounts to anything, coaching and development issues must be the problem and we must discuss it in pretty much every thread to the point most of the thread gets moved to a completely different thread and/or moved to the woodshed.

(Once again, this is a joke post and hope we can all laugh at it)

Yes, even though they never amounted to anything while he was here. I forgot that part, thank you.

MSU's classes haven't been very highly ranked. So there goes your argument for them. MSU wasn't nearly this good before, they were 7-6 just last year, and won't be nearly this good again when all the seniors leave after this season. They have a great dual-threat qb and things have come together with a ton of senior starters for one great year. MSU will be back to the usual next season.

Oxford is plenty nice and closer to talent than we are. Plus we aren't the only ones that say they send recruits through the grove to get $100 handshakes, it's well known. Look at how they hooked-up Stringfellow's mom and Nkemdiche's dad. Not saying they don't have good recruiting and coaching by any means, they certainly do.
