Moiraine
I tell them they're wrong. Am I delusional or do you think we can go 11-1 in the regular season? I really think we can go 12-1 and beat Sparty or tOSU on a neutral field. Tell them to STFU What if they're bigger than he is? Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
The koolaid drinker in me says "Hell Ya!!! We can win out!!!" But the old fart realist in me says that is a pretty tough row to hoe. We could win out, and we could just as easily go 1 win, 2 losses these last three games. If we win out, then I'll finally shake off the ghost of the past 15 years and become a full believer again. Either way, I'm Husker Red regardless. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Beck would have to come up with three consecutive game plans that play to Ameer's running and not Armstrong's passing. The offensive line has to find some spark somewhere. We will have to find a way to defend against a quarterback that rolls out with a running back / tight end cutting across on the same side. One game at a time, though. We can't beat all three at once, but we certainly have the talent to do it, I don't know if we have the will and the discipline. Wisky will be a great test of this (if they choose to not jet sweep us to death). IIRC, their leading receivers are the TE and RB. Receiver then two tight ends. Stupid Wisconsin, don't they know those are obsolete? Quote Link to comment

markiemark
Absolutely no reason we cant win out. Just sloppy play and miscues holding us back. sloppy play and miscues , you are assuming they are going away any time soon ? Consistency the good kind seems elusive with this staff. Am I wrong? HUSKERFOREVER38
I have put a curse on all other teams to lose and have my fingers crossed which guarantees we'll win. 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
No. We need to take each team seriously and prepare as such. Playing like we did the last two will not win us the next three. Wiscy is a hostile road game. Minny is crisp and beat us last year. Iowa doesnt wanna lose the last regular season game or the trophy. 1 Quote Link to comment
skersfan
yea minnysoda looks absolutely horrible! wisky up by three possessions. Absolutely terrible teams. Iowa not looking so good, but they seem to find a way to play us tough. Sure bet, I would wager my house and my car on your predictions. Not a chance of a slip up, we never have, have we? Your guarantees have grown tiresome, and normally wrong. 2 Quote Link to comment
HUSKERFOREVER38
How many games have we lost? None since I'be been here. And there have been multiple upsets. We were 19 when I came here and are now 13 and will most likely move up by not even playing today while we heal and rest up. Quote Link to comment

Being pessimistic about our chances is just as tiresome as overlooking our opponents. Quote Link to comment
