Husker no ka oi
He's done for the foreseeable future as a div 1 HC. Way to much negative pub on him. He's still relatively young, so he has a future left. I think he comes back as DC or poss a position coach in the nfl. In a few years he may get a job at mid level university. I wish him the best, but don't feel bad for him and his 30 mil. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
DC for da'Bears. That would blow my mind and as a guy who has given Pelini hell for the last few years on this board I would actually love to have Bo as a defensive coach of some variety with the Bears. I'm not so sure about head DC necessarily. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Florida will be probably be looking for a new DC and Pelini has SEC experience. 1 Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
Don't care where he goes but hopefully it is somebody we play. He has shown he can't stop a decent rushing attack. I want to face his team every year and set some records of our own. 5 Quote Link to comment
IAHUSKERS1
Hell, Iowa State might pick him and fire Paul Rhoads as bad of a year they have had over here Quote Link to comment
Husker no ka oi
I hear the niners are need of a coach for 2015. Quote Link to comment
minnHusker6
After Arnada gets a HC gig somewhere, Bo the new DC for Bucky and sticks it to us next year? Joking. But he will be good where ever he goes as a DC. Texas A&M is my guess. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFowler
A&M fired their DC yesterday and Sumlin and Bo are buds. Only question would Bo want to jump back in that quick. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Pelini would be a great DC anywhere and eventually would find a great home as head coach in a low pressure, smaller market program. Unfortunately despite best efforts to that end, that's not what Nebraska will stand for being. Best of luck to you, Bo. I'm sure we will be seeing more excellent defenses run by you in the future. At least I hope so. 2009 was beautiful. 4 Quote Link to comment
3rd and long
If I'm looking for a DC at a big time school, I'm calling him. He's not going to get a major HC job and I think it would be a mistake to take a lower tier HC job. Why? I just don't get this. His defenses have been mediocre at best (outside of Suh) and he's never shown a propensity to make good in game adjustments. I guess when he's had elite talent the results have been good, but I really don't see the wide appeal for him as a defensive specialist. Quote Link to comment
Paul in WI
If one listens to the national writers doing their braying today, you'd think that Pelini should be a shoe-in as a HC anywhere. I'd suggest to them that he would be a perfect fit to coach their favorite college team, since we were supposedly foolish enough to let him go. Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
One of Stoops brothers will hire him. i wonder... bo had a chance to get mike after arizona cut him... but bob did hire once before...so, whatever happens i hope bo finds the best place he can, all considering. Quote Link to comment
