MichiganDad3
According to the link below, Courtney Love and tight end Greg Hart will both be visiting Kentucky this weekend. Love didn't play much this year, and I didn't even know the Huskers had any tight ends Will we miss them? I believe Love was a four star recruit. Most players seem happy with Riley. I wonder if this vist was arranged before Riley met with the team? http://kysportsconnection.com/two-nebraska-cornhusker-transfers-are-visiting-kentucky-football/ Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Story is Love was already looking before Pelini was fired. Would really like to keep him. Not sure Hart was ever going to contribute. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
I would expect some transfers. I don't blame you...you only get to do this once...so go where you might be happy. On the bright side it opens more room up Quote Link to comment
okaive
What is happening with Gerry. Last I heard was that he wasn't happy with Bo being gone and wanted out. Any word? Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Riley will calm a lot of nerves in the coming days. The staff hires alone will go a long way in smoothing over concerns. Fear gives way to optimism pretty quick, and it's not like we went out a hired a huge a-hole. Quote Link to comment
Kernal
I doubt we see a mass exodus of players. More likely, a few non-contributing players will transfer, and maybe a few who are adversely affected by new systems. But as was said, a few players were already planning on transferring, and a few of the recruits were already wavering, before the staff change. Not sure about Love and Hart specifically. But their visiting Morrow in Kentucky just shows what a mistake it was to trust Morrow with NU recruiting in the first place. Quote Link to comment

Or what a mistake it was to not find a way to keep him on staff. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerinSunDiego
My feeling is that if a guy looks elsewhere, let him go. 1 Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
There will likely be some transfers, but as previously stated in this thread, I don't think there will be many. I think losing Love would kind of suck. Dude has the potential to be extremely special, but at the end of the day, these kids have to do what's best for them. Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
A new coaching staff may be just what these guys need, neither of them played a lot hart maybe not at all, a new coaching staff wouldn't have any loyalty to those who started over them. You would think Love would almost be guaranteed to start next year with Anderson and Roach gone Quote Link to comment
RedRex
Seeing a lot of hype for Stanton's future but what do you think TArmstrong will do? Seems like a guy with one throw might feel a bit put out.. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
I'm pretty excited to see what Riley can do with the QBs. Bush, Darlington, Stanton, and Armstrong. Maybe we can finally get consistent QB play! Quote Link to comment

Either way if Walton makes it to campus that would give us only 6 scholarship LB'ers, not enough. Quote Link to comment

Seems like a guy with one throw might feel a bit put out.. No matter what everyone thinks of Armstrong (i agree he didn't have a great season), he is soooooo much better of a passer and runner than Stanton. I honestly think Stanton might be the worst passer in the 5 deep on the current roster. Can't wait to see that hype train, though!! Quote Link to comment
