Perhaps the question is a bit of an over-simplification but the answer, for the vast majority of people, is “True.”

 

I think it’s pretty abhorrent that portions of the health industry are directly/indirectly convincing too many people that it’s “not their fault” for being obese.

For 99.9% of the population it is simply they consume more calories than they burn. Even with a “slow” metabolism like 50% of people claim. They just have no idea how inactive they are and how many calories they eat. Too many people claim a slow metabolism and or hormonal issues when even if you can have both of these you can still lose weight for the gain of health & longevity.
