BigRedBuster
One of his dreams has been to go through the recruiting process? Yeash Why does that surprise you? Almost any 18 year old kid would feel excitement going through the recruiting process at least at the beginning. Quote Link to comment

However, having a dream to go through the recruiting process seems like someone who is seeking attention. I guess it could just be poor word choice. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Shoot, if I was a high school kid being recruited by a bunch of major colleges I would have a Boner like you couldn't believe. And of course these kids want attention, they want to get scholarship offers, they want free college, they want to go play football at a great school. Quote Link to comment

Why wouldn't you get excited about going through the process? Hell, if I were a big recruit, I would definitely plan on playing for Nebraska, but i would definitely take all my official visits to programs I would find interesting of visit. This is a once in a life time chance to see behind the scenes of these programs. Hell, how many older Husker fans would have an orgasm just being able to walk through the halls and see all the locker rooms, weight rooms, meet all the coaches...etc. in Lincoln. Now, put that on an 18 year old kid and tell him he now gets to do that to 4-5 of the top programs that offer him and it's all paid for. Hell yes I would love the process. Enjoy the moment. 99.9% of these kids will never have another part of their life like this again. 1 Quote Link to comment

I can't imagine being able to do that at 4 other places across the country, with free airfare and lodging and meals. Quote Link to comment
