CAHusker
Cavanaugh visited Nathan today at Mesa. I should have some info Friday. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Visiting by himself for Iowa - no family with him. Dad has been to Husker games before but not him. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Anyone know how his visit went? I think OL is the most crucial position we need to upgrade. Certainly think at this point he'd be more buried in the depth at USC vs. NU. Quote Link to comment
CMT1525
Still solid with usc but Nebraska was a eye opener and gave him something to think about. His dad is a Husker homer so there is always hope Quote Link to comment
Red Five
Thinking the only way he comes to NU is if USC hires someone he doesn't jive with. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Sounds like USC's former-interim now-permanent head coach is a huge recruiter that is well-respected among Cali HS coaches. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Think this closes the door on Smith. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Liked most of his visit but didn't like the cold weather. Said unless something really crazy happens he'll sign with USC. Quote Link to comment

Can't really hate on him for that. As long as he just wants to do college ball, he shouldn't really be in too many cold environments while at usc. Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
Unfortunately he visited for the coldest game of the year. If you look back at the season, the first two games were played in the 80's. Then most of the season was played in the 50-70's. There's really only a couple of games a year we play in freezing temps. HIPP REDWINE ROZIER
Liked most of his visit but didn't like the cold weather. Said unless something really crazy happens he'll sign with USC. If he plans on playing at the next level he better get used to the cold. December in Green Bay will be an eye opener. Quote Link to comment
