Eric the Red
Player: Jaret Lee Hometown: Brenham, TX Position: QB Height: 6’2” Weight: 202 40 time: 4.81 Visit Date: spring game, NU Elite QB Academy Scholarships offered: Kansas State, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech Favorites: Committed to LSU Rankings/Stars: Rivals: Bid Red Report: Assessing the talent: One of many top notch QB’s residing in the state of Texas. Lee’s got it all. Big, strong, and plays against awesome competition. He’s a gamer and loves nothing more than to lead a team with 2 minutes to go. Put up huge numbers as a junior. He can make all the throws especially on the run and slants. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 20% I can’t help but have a good feeling about this kid becoming a Husker. Nothing but a hunch. Hunter94
well, you wouldn't THINK that the Texas schools could suck up all their good high school qb's.....but we have only touted 3 so far on this board, hope there are a few more down here to go around.........any others worth mentioning at this point? hunter Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
He can make all the throws especially on the run and slants. Sounds like the type of QB that can do what we need. Quote Link to comment

BigWillie
I'll guess right now and say he's our best shot at landing a big-time QB this cycle. I'll also say he will commit. Give me a couple weeks and I'll probably say different. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Texas QB plans early decision It’s no secret that Nebraska could use a good quarterback in this class. Actually, they could use two. If they can get one perceived “lock” in that they are someone that could be seen to play early in their career, they can go after another, who might be seen as someone, who will be able to develop into the position. The bottom line is, though; Nebraska needs quarterbacks. And one of their best shots, at least right now, could be Brenham, Texas’ Jaret Lee. -bigredreport.com Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Lee passed for 3400 yards and 40 tds as a junior. He is really high on Texas Tech but has yet to receive an offer from them. That is surprising since he is supposed to be one of the QBs Tech is hot for. Another Tech recruit is QB Brock Mansion and he has expressed interest in Nebraska. Mansion is 6-5, 225 out of Dallas Episcopal. Quote Link to comment

BigWillie
Seems we're putting on the full court press this weekend with Lee. With Lee making an early decision, this weekend will make or break us. Cross your fingers. Quote Link to comment

We aren't going to get Mallett or Clausen, he's just as good as an of the second tier guys....he would be a very quality get Quote Link to comment

Eric the Red
I can't help but think that the lack of QB backup play yesterday will be enticing to him. Quote Link to comment
