Randy was always listed as 6-4 so either he's taller than than or Thaddeus isn't quite as tall as advertised.

Maybe Randy is standing on a box or has platform shoes on. :dunno

How recent was the picture?

Would appear to be a cropped version of this picture dated last October.

I don't remember what his Tweet in my previous post said but I'm fairly sure Nebraska didn't make his list or seem to be in the top few. But apparently we're still in it.

We weren't in his top 8 back in June. Article below:

I guess the coaching staff is working overtime. Nice to see!

Randy was from West Virginia and made a lot of town folk mad when he didn't even give WV a shot at recruiting him.

He shunned WV to go to Marshall?

I actually always thought he didn't get into a power five school because of grades or something.

He went to FSU with Bowden. Went to jail and got kicked off the team. Then went to Marshall

Not even close. Florida State I believe. Go watch Rand U on Netflix at some point. His 30 for 30 story is REALLY good.

* Hipp beat me to it.

He signed with Notre Dame, but they wouldn't let him in after a fight or something. So then went to FSU and got booted before ending up at Marshall.

A white male made some racial remarks, Moss helped a friend hold him down and kicked him a few times, kid ended up with a ruptured spleen. That ended the Notre Dame offer. The FSU offer was pulled because of Pot. Seems like small potatoes compared to what some current athletes get away with.

Article empasizes all the "secrecy" about Thad Moss recruitment. Could he be the silent commit?https://www.seccountry.com/alabama/the-mysterious-recruitment-of-the-son-of-nfl-legend-randy-moss

I doubt it since we have Stoll and Stille, and are actively pursuing Beyer from NDSU i would doubt we are taking 3 possibly 4 Tight Ends.

Stille is going to play DE. Carter, Cotton & Foster will be SRs. next year which leaves us with Snyder & whoever we recruit this year & next. I expect we will take 3 or 4 & redshirt a couple.
