BigWillie
Gunn has not been evaluated yet. Give it time, he'll get his offer. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
damn, only a 30% chance of signing a home state kid? he must be awfully good or else he has dreams about playing at higher profile schools?...it would be hell if we lost him to Miami......surely we will be all over him?? hunter Quote Link to comment
Washusker
He's already talking about perhaps committing to Miami. It sounds like he's seriously geeked up about getting an offer from Coker and Co. We've got our work cut out for us... Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Washusker, don't worry about Miami. Yesterday they were his leader. Today, they're not. But Nebraska isn't his leader either, FWIW. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
On channel 6 at 6pm they said he got an offer from NU. They invited him down to attend the basketball game this weekend. Quote Link to comment
texhusker
I just don't understand my parents both lived in nebraksa, but after grad from NU we left for iowa then to texas I would have given both of my arms to have had the chance to play for the big red machine.l Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
BTW, his name is Harlan, not Harold. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
BTW, his name is Harlan, not Harold. thats what I was wondering as well..... Quote Link to comment
husker rob
We have to keep the in state kids at home. It is bad enough to lose some to Iowa and Iowa St. but to lose one to Miami will just plain suck. That is like a Nebraska kid playing for sCUm. Come on Harlan stay RED Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
Lock down the borders!!!! No one leaves this state and I mean no one!!! It is the first law of recruiting...control thine borders. Texas won a national championship that way. This guy is big in two ways. 1.) He is a very talented player who would be a great addition to this team. 2.) He is vital to recruiting now and in the future. It's one thing to miss out on an Allen Bradford, who while talented, will have zero impact on recruiting five years from now (unless he has a brother ), but its something else to lose a sought after in state guy. It just starts the snowball. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
So who is his leader today if not Miami, or NU?? Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Wide open. No leader as of now. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
That's what I like to hear Willie. I was hoping that the Miami thing was just excitement, as one couldn't blame him for getting excited at that offer. Sounds like he will be a high four star or possible five star when all is said and done. Hope he comes to NU! Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
The World Herald said that that Kansas State will have an offer on the table soon. The Freeman incident gave kitty some nerve. Let's kick that purple cat carcass back across the border!! Quote Link to comment
