Assessing the talent: Will be a top ten player overall in all the rankings when they put forth their final assessments. Absolutely dominating offensive lineman. One of the most fascinating films I’ve ever seen. He simply dominates his competition. On offense it’s virtually a pancake ever time. He can drive block any in high school football…anywhere. On defense he throws ball carriers down like rag dolls. Josh Oglesby will be one of the most heavily recruited prospects in 2007

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 10% The Huskers are going after him hard. He’s certainly a priority. Hopefully, he attends the spring game and a camp, which the odds are in our favor.

Well, yes and no. When he first came out of college, he most definately was a bust. While he's never admitted to it, it was almost certainly due to the fact that he had to either cut way back or eliminate steroids. He reported to camp considerably smaller than when he was in college, and had a lot of injury problems (this was all with Green Bay, as I recall).

He finally was waived, and spent some time out of the NFL, but eventually returned to Indianapolis and had a couple of decent years. While with the Colts, he was solid but not spectacular.

So, yes, he never came close to his college career or to his hype. But he did kind of redeem himself in the end.

Tremendous prospect.... Not many this good come out of Wisconsin, but I do know this much. It was very difficult to get anybody out of that state when Alverez was the coach. That is how Wisconsin got to be competitive. This will be a very difficult get with all of the state pushing him towards going to UW. Im from there, and they have the same kind of cult following for state athletics as we do... Gonna be tough.

Yeah, Josh's grandparent (cannot remember if it was his grandma or grandpa) is VERY ill. That reason alone kept him from coming to the spring game, which he wanted to attend.

Can't blame Josh for wanting to stick close to home in his situation.

If you read his update on Rivals, you can see he is a great kid. Every school that recruited him he is calling to break the news to them.

Honestly, he is just one of those guys you can't help but to root for. I really hope for the best with his grandparent and wish him the best at Wisconsin.
