Hell of an offer sheet for a 3*

No doubt! This is the part of recruiting rankings that is the most perplexing.

I think that just signifies that the kid hasn't had a ton of exposure to the services yet. Star rankings are based just as much on knowledge of the recruit via camps and reporters and etc. as they are on talent alone.

Crystal balls coming in for nebraska

And they are national picks as well.

Ryan Bartow is pretty accurate with his predictions

My point exactly. He usually doesn't make a pick unless he has a very firm read on the situation.

Ryan Bartow just predicted #Huskers. He is a national recruiting analyst located in South Florida. That has to mean something. This kind of came up random though that we are all of the sudden favorites. Would really like to hear someone elaborate. Also thought he was supposed to decide his commitment at the end of July. Wondering when his new decision date is.

We need to go kick Miami's ass in an empty stadium and show him where real football is played.

you mean a packed sun life stadium in a sea of red.

Or that.

These WR's wanna see if we're really gonna pass or not. They know Nebraska is running back U and that Armstrong couldn't pass the last 2 seasons. They wanna see if he improves and they wanna see what our offense is gonna look like. Give this time.

WR's getting set to commit in 2016 likely won't be catching passes from TA. Unless they are good enough to play as True freshmen

Exactly.

We have at least one and hopefully two QBs that look to be pretty dang good passers committed in their 2016 class. That is who they need to be looking at. We just put a WR in the NFL and we have another couple that are pretty dang good even with the QB we have had. We hired a coach that is a Pro style offensive guy. We hired an OC who was an NFL QB coach. If these kids don't think we are serious about passing the ball then they aren't paying attention.

Yup, they won't see TA, but they want to see how the offense operates and it's important for Tommy or whoever else is taking snaps, is running the offense efficiently and getting the WRs in the mix more often with better production than previous years. You can only sell so much "future" and "direction," proving it on the field now will help seal the deal.

But that's my point. As long as Riley stays true to his word, he is going to play to Armstrong's strengths. Which means in a couple of years when he is no longer the QB, he will play to their strengths and the passing game may look different.

So any WR that doesn't commit here now based on what TA looks like as a QB is doing themselves a disservice.

What happened to this Freddie Pinder guy? There was a flood of predictions of him going to Nebraska on 247 and now I haven't heard about him in over a week. Thought he was trying to make a decision pretty soon. Maybe gonna try to visit? He still retweets a lot of Miami stuff. Kind of concerning.

He got a lot of predictions for us but it is up to the kid to decide when he wants to commit. I agree though he has been quiet but I would wait becuase he could commit at any time! It is between us and Miami so if he can't make it to Lincoln he will watch the Neb-Mia and hopefully we impress him during that game. I say we get this kid but I don't know a timetable of when he commits.

What's the story on this kid? Anybody know

No, but might be a good one to take a chance on considering he's a teammate of Bootle's and has great size.

Hmmm, still nothing?

Hasnt decided yet and is between Marshall and Temple.

Some people thought he might go JUCO, but he claimed that isnt true.

He keeps retweeting stuff bout Miami, so wonder if he is holding out on an offer.
