Does anyone have an update on this guy? I find it strange that in July and August, we definitely were in the mix and getting a visit. But, haven't heard anything since.

Seems like he's most likely USC bound. He never visited so we're definitely not in it, I would think.

The operative words in a recruits statements are "for sure" and "definitely". When you hear that think the opposite.

That's why I don't usually add guys to my "interested" list until they actually have a date set for a visit. WAAAYYY too many will say over and over that they are going to visit - even "definitely" going to visit - and then it never happens. I think when they're talking to a reporter who mainly covers a particular team they often talk that team up a bit more than they're really interested. Or if they're hearing a lot from a team they mention them but as they start to pare down their list they're not that high.
