Mavric
Two Nebraska baseball players made the list of Perfect Game’s top draftable college players for 2016. Centerfielder Ryan Boldt checked in at No. 29 overall, and pitcher Max Knutson made the list at No. 90. Boldt appeared in 55 of Nebraska’s 57 games a year ago, leading the team in average (.344), hits (75), runs (45) and stolen bases (9), and earning third-team Academic All-American honors. During Big Ten play, Boldt ranked ninth in the league with a .374 average and tied for eighth in hits with 34, while his on-base percentage of .467 ranked fourth. Over the summer he played in the prestigious Cape Cod League, earning All-Star honors in the league. Knutson, a hard-throwing lefty, is looking for a big junior season after starting 2015 in the rotation, and then moving to the bullpen. Last year, he finished 1-1 with a 2.33 ERA in 10 appearances, and could either be a factor in Nebraska’s rotation or a hard-throwing reliever out of the bullpen. Link Quote Link to comment

huskerfan13
Kinda surprised Knutson is on this list with such limited playing time since he's been here. Quote Link to comment
