Serious question: Are internships realistic for college athletes, such as football players?

Yes, but I don't know the rules. Most likely has to be unpaid. I remember a few years ago Kain Kolter did an internship with Goldman Sachs in their Chicago office.

Pretty sure nobody can have unpaid interns anymore.

They still exist. I would never do it but they are definitely still out there.
