Cool....So as of right now, we have the highest average player rating of any class since sometime before 2002.

Dear Lord...please allow this class to contribute to the future success of this program in a manner consistent with their player ratings and expectations of the staff they will be entrusted with to develop.

PS....as a side note Lord.....Please allow this also to be one of the lowest average player rating classes of the Scott Frost era.

This IMO is very likely. This is his first full cycle recruiting class and is following a 4-8 year. Him and his staff are settled in and win the wins show up on the field the class rankings will only get better.

I think we have to set our goals to consistently be above the .88 average rating. That should be be our goal every year.

(I do understand there may be some players Frost targets that he believes fit his system which may drag it down)

Finally hitting that .88 average. That should be the floor moving forward (hopefully).

Not impossible if we have a lot of really talented in state guys.

It will be hard, but we need our in-state guys to pan out so future guys can get respect from recruiting services.  Look at a guy like Piper who is a low 3 star.  He is 6'4 270 that ran a camp 4.8  40yd dash and has around a 30 inch vertical.  His measurements are almost identical to the #1 player in the country Anthony Alfano.  Now I realize that those are just measurements and dont exactly correlate to the football field, but guys like Piper will probably "drag" our ratings down, but I can live with that bc I think that kid will be a stud for us.

Im gunna bet that Piper wasn't running the camp circuit either. So some of this stuff is grain of salt worthy. Piper is a great athlete for his size and maybe if he plays class A, he is a high 3 or low 4 star without the camps. If he had ran the camp circuit this past summer he certainly would have been at lowest a mid 3 star. Seeing guys similar to my size with that much ability frustrates me, because some of that you just cant work on to achieve what he already has.

My physical abilities compared to his make me understand why I wasn't so highly recruited 10 years ago lol.
