Danny Bateman
Others seemed to indicate Collin was a backup plan. Well, we're certainly in backup plan territory now. Prove em wrong Collin! Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
If he gets to Gangwish status by his SR year, I won't complain. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
The nice thing about recruiting is that nothing is guaranteed. We have no idea who will pan out to be what until they actually get on the field. Collin could wind up being this class's best recruit. Obviously, by recruiting more highly-sought after guys, you're just trying to maximize the chances of things working out. In that sense, wish we would've gotten more of our first-choice guys. But I'm more than willing to welcome anyone to the Big Red family if the coaches think it's a good idea. 1 Quote Link to comment
ADS
Actually a pretty decent offer list. Quote Link to comment

Can't decide if he's a "backup plan" or just a guy who exploded in his SR year. This last summer he was about 6'2 220-225, now according to him he's 6'3 245. Put up big stats too, 111 tackles/11 sacks/4 FF. Quote Link to comment

Waterloohusker26
I saw on an article Brandon Peters the Michigan QB commit we were after said Collin was the best defensive player he went up against all year Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Seems like a solid player, but we need to improve his explosion off the line. 1 Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
It's good to know we have a back-up option in case Ivy fails. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
If he gets to Gangwish status by his SR year, I won't complain. I would hope he's better than Gangwish. We can't be satisfied with serviceable defensive ends. Quote Link to comment
bugeater17
Kid looks solid. Surprising he wasn't offered sooner. Like others have said - appears to be a late bloomer but does have a nice offer sheet. Hopefully we can close. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
If he gets to Gangwish status by his SR year, I won't complain. God bless Jack Gangwish, but we have to be better at that position then him going forward.... Quote Link to comment
