zoogs
Good story from Sam, nuggets from the presser and a big-picture outlook for one of the focuses of Mike Riley's Nebraska recruiting approach. LINCOLN — So the small-town West Coast guy who’s come halfway across the country to coach Nebraska puts himself in a Midwestern classroom full of high school kids who don’t know who he is or why he’s there — and will likely never meet him again... I like the video discussion included in the article with Sam and Jon Nyatawa. I agree with Sam -- I think we're seeing some new urgency here, some new fire, but stated only in soft undertones. I like the comments on Chase Allen in this video. Sam thinks the staff is kicking themselves for not being on top of that sooner. Summary: Riley's pleased, "with an undercurrent of it's gotta be better". 1 Quote Link to comment
