More Law Trouble for Baylor

Recommended Posts

Wow...just f*****g wow.

Baylor is the perfect school for the NCAA to make an example of. Not only have they had the death penalty for basketball, they're in the sixth best FBS conference, don't impact viewership, and not having to play Baylor would help schools like Texass and Oklahoma out greatly.

This way, the NCAA can say "Hey, we're enforcing penalties and coming down hard on habitual offenders" while not really taking a significant school out of the running for something important.

And you have to admit, Baylor receiving the Death Penalty is a hell of a lot more likely than a Tennessee or Ole Miss, who are in God's Favored Collegiate Football Conference , the SEC.

Multiple sources connected to Baylor told HornsDigest.com on Thursday said football coach Art Briles has a better chance of surviving a blind eye to alleged sexual assaults committed by Bears' football players than school president and chancellor Ken Starr.

Yeah, I suppose that a 5-10% chance of surviving is better than 0%, right? :dunno

And why do we consider Chip Brown a valid source for anything? He probably couldn't even tell us straight what he had for dinner last night with embellishing it with false reports from 'inside sources'.

That's a rhetorical question, BTW; not meant to be anything negative towards the OP.

Still doesn't mean this is done by any stretch of the imagination. As soon as the link is made between the coach and what happened, even if it's a tenuous one, there's going to be a chorus of protests calling for his termination.

But hey, glad to see Baylor has the best interests of their co-eds at heart, right?
