Enhance Posted October 2, 2020 Share Posted October 2, 2020 There should be a zero tolerance policy for failing to follow appropriate best practices for gun ownership and handling. In Omaha, I believe most of the gun crimes (particularly gang gun crimes) are committed with stolen or "lost" guns. Too many people carelessly leave them under car seats, unlocked glove boxes, or (if you're like one of my family members) on the kitchen table in broad daylight with the back door unlocked while no one is home. 1 Link to comment
