Gun Control

i recall a recent shooter who claimed he shot a person because the person was trying to take his gun away from him after he had already shot 2 other people.   the jury found him not guilty.   let's not rush to judgement on this shooter.

Sorry, that's murder. He intentionally escalated the situation by going into the house specifically to retrieve the fire arm. He was 10 paces away, lined up the shot and pulled the trigger. That wasn't an instinctual act of self defense. He was out of harms way, not even a punch was thrown.

What's more, he stood there posing for the camera next to his kill, arguing with the camera person, rather than offer aid. This ain't the wild wild west.

13-year-old accused of killing sister was making own guns at home, sheriff says

He ordered everything he needed online to make guns, including semi-automatic weapons. Then, the 13-year-old boy sold them on the streets to others, Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds said Wednesday.

But when a man tried to take a gun without paying for it, the teenager fired a shot with one of his homemade weapons, Pounds said. The shot killed the boy’s 14-year-old sister, Kyra Scott, described as a “beautiful, kind soul.”

On Saturday, two people arrived at a Vicki Lane home in Douglasville to buy one of the boy’s guns, Pounds said. Instead of paying for it, the two took it and fled, the sheriff said. Investigators believe the boy fired a shot in an attempt to stop the robbery.

“According to the investigation, he was shooting at the folks that took his weapon,” Pounds said. “But instead, he shot his sister. And it’s so sad his sister’s death happened.”

That's some incredibly irresponsible parenting, to say the least.

I hate guns but that old dude in the very cool greenish shirt was a moron.

I still think the dude with the gun should be arrested and killed but that old dude was an idiot.

What should you do when someone has a gun and is telling you to get off their property?

a.) Stay on their property.

b.) Dare them to "do it" with a threatening posture.

c.) Try to disarm them like you're in a Steven Seagal movie.

d.) All of the above
