Agree 100%.  Something has to be done.  If this is it, then at least it’s better than nothing.   I would like to see a lot more done, but starting small is probably the only way to get something passed.

How many of these under 21s are going to have a background? Seems like that isn’t going to help much. I say either require it for all, raise the min age to 21 period, or do both.

this law would be the minimum...but the minimum is better than nothing i guess.   but does it really matter since the next republican president will undo it anyway and the NRA and the majority of republicans will call the repeal a great victory for american freedom.

Like I said...I don't know one teacher that wants to carry.  

 

I wonder if they would do some sort of extra stipend for teachers that did carry.  It seems like a huge responsiblity.
